1. Please pick up the (3) handouts on the side table. Pick up a textbook on the cart in the back of the room.

2. White packet on “ New plan of Government” Do not need a textbook. Answer questions 1 and 2 only. Due next class!

3. We will be picking (4) flexible partners to use during the 1 st quarter. Do not loose this paper. Place it in the front of your binder when done! Pick (1) person for each season to work with. You may not have the same person twice. See Mrs. Wenk if you need help with finding partners. We are all here to work together!

4. What do you already know about the US Government from 7 th grade? When you think about the US government, what do you want to know more about or understand? If the President of United States was in this room, what would you like to ask him about his job? When done we will share with the people around us.

5. Be respectful of peoples belongings. Do not bother those around you. Work smart.. Share the work with your partner.

9. Page 1 Using the graphic organizer on the bottom of the paper, answer the three questions. Be ready to share your answers when you are done. You have 5 minutes.

10. Fill out page 4 with out looking back on page 1. If you need to, yes then look at page 1. Start your homework, reading the white packet and answering just questions 1 and 2 in the packet. Due next class!!
