Tributaries of Colorado river Colorado has tributaries form the east ad west of the United States. The Virgin, Kanab, Paria, Escalante, Dirty Devil and Green rivers from the west. The Little Colorado, San Juan, Dolores and Gunnison from the east.

Course trajectory Colorado and its tributaries flows through the Great Basin, Sonoran (eastern side) and the Mojave (western side) desert. Born about 10 000 feet in the Rocky Mountains and flows about 1, 470 mile South west to the Gulf of California ( the Sea of Cortez).
