2. What causes a Hurricane?
Warm ocean waters cause more evaporation.
This provides more energy for the Hurricane to start.
Strong winds collide causing the air to rush upwards.
Light winds around the area allow it to start spinning.
This pattern continues, making the hurricane stronger and faster.

3. Where do Hurricanes occur?
Hurricanes can occur almost anywhere.
Most Hurricanes occur in the vast surroundings of the USA.
They can also occur in areas such as Europe, Australia and of course America.
They can also happen anywhere else in the world.

4. How do people work together to restore the damage of a Hurricane?
Different fundraisers.
Volunteers helping to rebuild houses farms, etc.

In the US, the hurricane season is from June 1st – November 30th.
In the rest of the world, they can occur at any time.

Bring in outdoor furniture.
Assemble your disaster supply kit.
Listen to radio or television for weather updates.
Shut off utilities (water, gas, electricity).
Be prepared to evacuate if told.
