Hindu beliefs existed prior to recorded history but the word “Hinduism” originated around 700 BC to refer to the people living in India

Each group will receive a reading on a different religion. Read the description of the origins of your religion Write down the most important events in order for your storyboard. (Buddhism – 8 events; Islam – 8 events; Christianity – 6; Judaism – 4 events) Compare with group *** YOU MUST CHECK YOUR EVENTS WITH ME BEFORE YOU START YOUR STORYBOARD*** Create a storyboard which explains the most important events of the origin of the religion
