2. Introduction to Story  Action / Text  Edgar and Eva at home; they are bored so they decide to go to the park.  Image / Movement  three talking scenes between the two; Running to the park; Arriving at the park and playing.  Transitions  opening screen giving title of movie. Another screen that informs of time and location The following stands true for the entire storyboard. ZimmerTwins has built in clips that have sound, camera angles, and pan/zoom built into them.  Sound  built into clips (*this stands true for the entire storyboard*); a mixture of sound effects and music  Camera Angle / Zoom  built into clips; usually close ups for talking scenes and full body shots for action scenes

3. Turning Point in the Story  On the way home from the park, they are both running through alleyway to get home  Edgar is alone in the alleyway and finds a crystal  Eva asks him “Why did you stop back there?” while standing in the street and he says “to tie my shoes”  They run down street to get back to their house.  Transition  “That night in Edgar’s dreams”  Edgar dreams that he is in the 17 th parallel universe and that odd things are happening (such as him flying, etc.). The crystal is present in all these scenes.  When Edgar wakes up in his house he thinks “That was a weird dream. Maybe I shouldn’t hold on to this crystal.”  Edgar walks down the street and to the alleyway with the crystal, which he wraps in a sack. Then he walks back home without the crystal.

4. Rising Action  Transition says “That night in Edgar’s dreams… again” and shows the exact same dream that Edgar had the night prior  Edgar wakes up in the morning and is confused as to why he had this dream again.  Throughout his day walking down the street and to the store, he keeps thinking about the crystal.  Later, he talks to Eva and explains everything to her. “I found this crystal the other day in the alleyway. I dreamed about it so I put it back. But now I can’t stop thinking about it”  Eva says “Let’s go back and get it! It obviously is important if you are dreaming about it. Let’s go!”  Eva and Edgar run back to the alleyway and retrieve the crystal. They run back home.

5. Rising Action Cont.  Transition: “Three Days Later”  13 The Cat shows up to Edgar and Eva’s house. He introduces himself and explains that they are holding a very important item. Explains that the crystal should’ve been destroyed years ago but it was lost… until Edgar picked it up in the alleyway.  Eva asks what this means and 13 explains that they need to return the crystal to the cave it comes from so that it can be safe and be destroyed! 13 explains that an evil man is trying to find the crystal, and with it he could change the whole world… and not in a good way!  Edgar and Eva are shocked and scared.  13 says “We need to leave immediately for the cave. The fate of the world depends on it.”

6. Rising Action Continued  The three set out on an epic adventure to save the world. They run through:  Forests  Jungles  Streets  More forests and jungles  Outer space  And the 17 th dimension  After all of these obstacles and travelling, they finally arrive at the cave.

7. Climax  Edgar, Eva, and 13 arrive at the cave  They destroy the crystal and save the entire world!  They dance and celebrate

8. Falling Action & Conclusion  They make the long, but easier, trip back home.  Once there, they feel bored again. This time, with their new friend 13 as well.  Eva says that she is bored. Edgar suggests they go to park.  They leave, making a joke that hopefully this time they won’t find any magical objects on the way home.  They laugh and run down the street.  Transition: THE END
