3 A Towering Success  The challenge: As a team, create the tallest structure  Use only the materials provided.  We have about 20 minutes to complete the project.  Each group will be asked to present your tower and construction organization.  The structure must have a “cool” name. Please list and explain the awesome features of your structure.

4 Tower of Success Reflections  How did you feel about the outcome?  What important things happened during the build? Surprising? Stressful?  What did you learn about teambuilding?  How does this apply to your “real” world?  What strategies would you use to combat dysfunctional team behavior?

5 What is a team? “A team is a small number of people with complementary skills who are committed to a common purpose, performance goals, and approach for which they hold themselves mutually accountable” (Katzenbach & Smith, 2003, p. 45)
