1. Quasimodo:  Get a manila file folder from the front of the room.  Get out any notes you have on either preterite or imperfect verbs. NEW MEMORY VERSE: “ Yo soy el Alfa y la Omega, principio y fin, dice el Señor, el que es y que era y que ha de venir, el Todopoderoso.” Apocalipsis 1 versículo 8

2. INSIDE your folder… LEFT  On the LEFT side of your folder put the title “ El pretérito ” RIGHT  On the RIGHT side of your folder put the title “ El imperfecto ”  Use the space below the titles to summarize the FORMAT of these aspects (NOT when you use them, rather how you use them)  Be sure to include:  Endings for regular verbs  Any irregular formats and how these work (lots for preterite)  Any totally irregular verbs

3. El pretérito: El imperfecto: -AR-ER/-IR-AR-ER/-IR Regular verbs Irregular verbs Etc…

4. If you’re done early…  Read a book in Spanish and find…  an example or two of sentences using preterite verbs to put on the preterite flap  an example or two of sentences using imperfect verbs to put on the imperfect flap.

5. Tarea:  Finish the inside of the folder for tomorrow (example sentences not included)
