Nature There are many fascinating natural glories all over the country like mountains, lakes, caves and rocks!

Sofia province In Sofia area there is located Rila National Park, peak Musala and National Park Vitosha!

Peak Musala Peak Musala is located in Rila Mountain. It’s the highest peak in Bulgaria and The Balkan Peninsula.It is 2,925 m. high.

Belogradchic Rocks The Belogradchic Rocks are a group of bizarrely shaped sandstone, limestone and conglomerate rock. The rocks vary in color from primarily red to gray to yellow, some of the rocks reach up to 200 m in height.

Magura Cave The largest inland lake in the country, the Rabisha Lake, is situated in the vicinity of the cave and the whole region has been declared a natural landmark. The Magura Cave is among Bulgaria’s most famous and beautiful caves.

The Seven Rila Lakes The Seven Rila Lakes are situated in the northwestern Rila Mountains in Bulgaria. They are the most visited group of lakes in Bulgaria.

Ledenika Cave The cave is about 300m long and contains ten separate halls. The biggest one is the Concert Hall. The way to it is through the Passage of Sinners. Only those whose heart is pure can pass through it.

Yagodinska Cave The cave is unique with its countless stalactites, stalagmites, stalactones, curtains, leopard skins (different colored layers of rock), cave pearls.

Saeva dupka Saeva dupka is a cave in Northern Bulgaria near the village of Brestnitsa, Lovech Province. Its five halls and 400 metres of corridors offer some of the most beautiful cave formations in the country.

Devil's Throat One of the phenomenons in the Rhodope Mountains is the Trigradsko jdrelo where is located a cave called The Devil's Throat. The name of the cave has derived from the devil head shaped entrance. There is a river crossing underground the cave, with 60m high waterfall, forming a huge hall called the Thunder hall.

Foreland Kaliakra Kaliakra is a long and narrow headland in the Southern Dobruja region of the northern Bulgarian Black Sea Coast, located 12 km east of Kavarna and 60 km northeast of Varna. The coast is steep with vertical cliffs reaching 70 m down to the sea.

Melnik Pyramids Melnik pyramids are rock formations, which are among the most frequented by tourists rock pyramids in the territory of Bulgaria. Located in the foothills of the southwestern part of the Pirin mountain.

Reserve Srebarna Lake Srebarna is a nature reserve in northeastern Bulgaria. While Lake Srebarna was studied many times in the past by foreign biologists, the first Bulgarian scientist to take an interest in the area was Aleksi Petrov, who visited the reserve in 1911.

The Rose Valley The Rose Valley is a region in Bulgaria located just south of the Balkan Mountains. The valley is famous for its rose- growing industry which have been cultivated there for centuries, and which produces 85% of the world's rose oil. The extracts are used by perfumeries all over the world.
