5. BUSINESS IN COMMITTEE WILL HAPPEN WITH MOTIONS. YOUR CHAIR SHOULD HELP YOU, BUT IF YOU WANT TO BE EXTRA PREPARED LOOK AT THE DOCUMENT. THE MOST COMMON MOTION IS A MOTION FOR INFORMAL CAUCUS. EVERYONE BREAKS OFF TO TALK AND DEBATE WITH OTHER COUNTRIES THE GOAL IS TO FIND A GROUP (PREFERABLY A LARGE GROUP) OF COUNTRIES TO WRITE A RESOLUTION WITH YOU WANT TO LEAD YOUR CAUCUS GROUP AND THUS SHAPE THE RESOLUTION EVERYONE HAS THERE OWN STYLE JUST SEE WHAT WORKS YOU WILL HAVE TO BE A LITTLE AGGRESSIVE BUT ALSO LIKEABLE. THIS ISN’T SPEECH AND DEBATE DON’T BE AFRAID TO COMPROMISE HOWEVER MAKE SURE YOUR POLICIES MAKE INTO THE RESOLUTION OR YOU WILL BECOME IRRELEVANT. Informal Caucus

WORK WITH NATIONS THAT HAVE SIMILAR IDEAS AND REALLY EXPAND THOSE SOLUTIONS WITH DETAILS: TIMELINES, SPECIFIC SOLUTIONS, ETC.
