3. Where is found?  Anterior to the kidneys

4. Disorders  Adrenal Fatigue  Addison’s Disease  Adrenogenital syndrome  Cushing Syndrome  Adrenal Cancer

Hormones  Epinephrine:  Heart rate and blood pressure increase  Diverts blood away from certain areas of the brain and internal organs to muscles  Increases speed and strength  Can cause one to feel energized, shaky, weak, or sick to the stomach  Norepinephrine:  As a hormone:  Works along side Epinephrine to energize person  As a Neurotransmitter:  passes nerve impulses from one neuron to the next
