2 2 About Attaching Documents Overview - Attachments in Grants Online –This facility enables you to upload and attach relevant supporting documentation when lodging applications for aid, extensions requests and accounts at the time of request, as an alternative to using emails, standard mail and faxing. –You can also attach a document/s to any request, even after it has been submitted, so long as the grants officer has not yet processed the request. For example, when assessing the request, if a grants officer requires you to provide additional information you can find the original request online and attach the relevant material. –You no longer have to email your Expensive Case Worksheets. You lodge them using the “attach” facility within the extension of aid system in Grants Online. –You no longer have to email sundry correspondence. You lodge correspondence by using the “attach” facility within the extension of aid system in Grants Online.

3 3 In a nutshell……… Complete the online application, extension request or invoice as per normal procedure. Attach the document/s to the request or invoice. The attached documents will be available to the grants officer in LAQ Office Request Manager. After submission attachments are available and can be downloaded from a link within the Contents section of the Electronic File / Profile. Attachments can only uploaded in the following formats:.bmp,.doc,.docx,.gif,.jpg,.pdf,.rtf,.txt,.xls,.xlsx. Attachments cannot exceed 20MB in size.

4 4 This is a new screen that enables documents to be attached.

5 5 To attach a document select “Attach”.

6 6 On the File Upload Screen select “Browse”.

7 7 Step 1 Step 2 Using the Windows directory structure, browse and select the document to be attached”.

8 8 Select the Category “Supporting Material”.

9 9 Select “Upload”.

10 10 This screen confirms that you have successfully attached a file.

11 11 To attach additional documents repeat the process.

12 12 To remove a document select “Remove”.
