4 General Transfer Courses Additional review process involving representatives from 4-year programs Mandatory transfer of approved courses to any public institution of higher learning in state Originally only “core” courses Now, if not GT, most courses > 2 credits do not get sufficient enrollment to be viable

5 Articulation Agreements with Individual Schools Especially important if their courses have non-traditional prefixes/names (i.e. no clear “equivalent”) e.g. Colorado School of Mines –Earth and Environmental Systems (SYGN) Benefits both schools by making transfer process easier & boosting enrollments Helps students by clarifying requirements & reducing hassles
