3 Sailfish Top predators in the seas Long sharp bill and sail shaped dorsal fin Body grows to about 4 feet long One of the fastest fish in the ocean Diet includes: Pelagic and benthic fish, squid, and octopus ("Swordfish & Billfish")

5 Blackfin Snapper Red fish with yellow fins and white under-belly Strong fighters Live in very deep water The young feed on plankton The adults feed on shrimp and squid Can live up to 57 years ("All about saltwater blackfin snapper")("Gulf Red Snapper")

7 Banded Rudderfish Start at less than 11 inches Pattern of bands from eye to first fin Once longer than 11” it becomes more blue They eat smaller fish and shrimp Prefer shallower water Live on bottoms of the reef and in inshore channels ("All About Saltwater Banded Rudderfish")
