Production Support Quality - To create safe processes and flawless products requires rigorous analysis, to maintain conditions that do not lead to defects. OPUS II facilitates the understanding of where, when, how, who and why. Performance - Use OPUS II to concentrate on process and equipment efficiency. The presentation of actuals against targets allows the process operating conditions to be maximised in real time. Environmental - OPUS II is able to capture all non-compliant events; recording date, time and reason. OPUS II has the facilities to track all the activities required to restore the process back to a compliant condition. Production Costs - OPUS II can display production costs & losses in real time through integration with other systems; allowing for more accurate and immediate commercial decision making. Availability - Use OPUS II to to log plant & equipment availability and to record the reasons for production losses. Maintenance - Obtain data on failure numbers, frequencies and severities, and on MTBF's and MTTR's. Used correctly OPUS II can help to reduce process failures.
