3. Sugar Ray Leonard. Sugar ray Leonard was born in may 17 1956 in a place Called rocky mount. Growing up for Leonard was Really tough considering that he witnessed friends & Family just get wasted around him because of crime. Since Leonard was just marginal at team sports he Couldn’t really participate in much sports but his 2 Brothers who had begun to dabble in a little bit of Boxing and later on got convinced by his 2 brothers To join their local gym and strap on a pair of gloves And begin to box.

6. Leonard was getting better and better at boxing Every time he trained luckily for him in 1973 he was getting luckier. In 1973 Leonard won the national golden gloves award shortly after that he won the amateur athletic union champion. Over the course of his really successful amateur career Leonard won 3 golden glove titles, 2,aau championships and the 1975 pan American title. He was also now a celebrity because of all the injuries he had to his hands and still kept fighting.

And was inducted to the Boxing world of fame.

I think Leonard had a good effect on people and bad effect on the Other world championship boxers. Leonard had good effect on people Because they saw him as a role model and a hero.
