Florida Traffic Infraction Detector Law Red-Light-Running-Camera (RLRC) F.S. 316.0083 Effective July 1, 2010, authorizes cities, counties, and DHSMV to operate RLRCs (Traffic Infraction Detectors). Effective July 1, 2010, authorizes cities, counties, and DHSMV to operate RLRCs (Traffic Infraction Detectors). Citation : $158 (Notification within 30 days of violation) Right-hand turn in a careful and prudent manner where right-hand turns are permissible. A manufacturer or vendor may not receive a fee or remuneration based upon the number of violations detected

FLORIDA TRAFFIC INFRACTION DETECTORS FDOT permit requirements for State Roads General Use Permit – Special Provisions To Include: Letter from Permittee or Chief Law Enforcement Officer supporting the RLRC at the location requested Traffic infraction detector system shall be supported on its own poles and infrastructure Must be located outside of FDOT clear zone or meet MASH 09 Crash worthiness Must comply with Placement and Installation Specifications
