2 Office Tour – KPMG  About KPMG  Big 4 firm  U.S. headquarters in New York  Services: Tax, audit, advisory  Core industries include financial services, energy and natural resources, healthcare, government, manufacturing and forest products.  This is the FINAL Milwaukee Tour  April 17th at 1:30 pm

3 Office Tour – SVA  About SVA  Regional firm  Services: Accounting, tax, consulting and others  Core industries include construction, health care, manufacturing & distribution, nonprofit and real estate  This is the FINAL office tour – Pledges, you are required to attend one  This is the only Madison Tour  April 24th at 1:30 pm

5 Getting Involved  Bowl-A-Thon – Turn in donations and donation sheets to Adam  Upcoming events:  Post-Spring splash clean-up

6 Golf Outing  May 2 nd, which is a Saturday  The golf outing is going to be groups of 4 players per team (2 firm reps and 2 students)  We will do a shotgun start of all 18 holes (just means a team will be on every hole)  9 hole Scramble (ease the minds of non-golfers, play best ball)

7 More Facts  Ryan and I set up the foursomes based upon the sign up sheet and what you have indicated the “size” of firm you would like to intern for  $25 fee associated with the golf outing (kept costs constant over past 5 years with expenses rising)

8 Benefits  3 guaranteed hours with a firm  Food, soda, raffle prizes after at the networking period right at Prairie Woods  You can see the firm reps out of the office/professional setting

9 Concerns  It doesn’t matter if you’re bad at golf  Firms are not going to judge you on your golf game  We have never successfully played a round of golf  Worse case scenario just putt or chip  It’s a scramble!

10 Things You Need to Know  May 2 nd (It’s a Saturday)  Starts at 9am, be there half an hour early  $25 fee for the golf outing – due by NEXT Thursday (16 th )  We will have a sign up sheet April 9 th and 16 th  Need money before the 23rd (2 weeks)  Bring back your clubs  There will be a $12 fee for renting clubs  Not mandatory, strongly encourage everyone to be there, so you all know what that means

11 Explore Accounting Day  Targets area high school students who have an interest in accounting  Held in fall and spring semester  Current semester event – Friday May 1 st  Includes approximately 400 students from 12 high schools

12 Explore Accounting Day - Continued  Current Volunteer Requirements  16 students needed  Provide tours of Hyland Hall and surrounding campus  Mandatory training – Thursday April 30 th at 5pm – Hyland Hall Lobby  Tours occur Friday May 1 st – 8:00-9:30am  Receive 3 volunteer hours for Beta & COBE
