Let’s Review Guided Practice A survey was conducted to see if students get an allowance and if they have to do household chores. Of the 12 students that receive no allowance, 5 of them have no chores. There are 17 students who do chores and receive an allowance, while 6 students get an allowance without doing any chores. Construct a two way table to display this data.

Let’s Review Extension Activities Observe the students in your class and create a two way table that displays the combinations on hair color and eye color. The hair color categories are black, brown, red, and blond. The eye color categories are brown, blue, hazel, and green. Please note that this table will be bigger than ones in the lesson.

Let’s Review Extension Activities Make a survey that collects two pieces of categorical data. Ask 10 people and record your data. Use the data to construct a two way table. (Some possible topics: boys/girls who study more/less than 1 hour a night; 7 th graders/8 th graers who dress up/ do not dress up for Halloween)
