4. Introduction  John 8:11-12 –  (11) “And Jesus said to her, ‘Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.”  (12) “Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, ‘I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”

7. God is on Our Side  Hebrews 13:5-6 –  “‘I will never leave you nor forsake you.’ So we may boldly say: ‘The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”

8. God is on Our Side  I Corinthians 10:13 –  “No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.”

10. God’s Word  Psalms 37:30-31 –  “The law of his God is in his heart; None of his steps shall slide.”  Psalms 119:11 –  “Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You.”

11. God’s Word  II Timothy 3:16-17 –  “All Scriptures is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

12. God’s Word  Ephesians 6:10-11, 17 –  “Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil… and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.”

16. Self-Examination  I Corinthians 10:12-13 –  “Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.”  II Corinthians 13:5 –  “Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves.”

18. Godly Fear  Exodus 20:18-20 – “that His fear may be before you, so that you may not sin.”  Ecclesiastes 12:13 – “Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is man’s all.”  Hebrews 12:28-29 – “we may serve God acceptable with reverence and godly fear. For our God is a consuming fire.”

20. God is Watching  Proverbs 15:3 – “The eyes of the Lord are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good.”  Hebrews 4:13 – “And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.”

Hope of Heaven  Revelations 22:14-15 – “Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city”  Matthew 25:31-34 – “Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.”

23. Conclusion  Sin is serious.  Sin separates us from God and from His blessings & promises.  We must overcome sin & SIN NO MORE.  We have help from God.

24. God’s Plan of Salvation  Hear the Word of God (Mark 16:15)  Believe in Jesus (Mark 16:16)  Repent of Sins (Acts 17:30)  Confess Faith in Christ (Romans 10:10)  Be Baptized in Water (I Peter 3:21)  Remain Faithful & Grow(Revelations 2:10)  If err, repent and pray to God (I John 1:9)

25. Lord’s Supper  Partaking of the Bread:  I Corinthians 11:24 –  “and when He has given thanks, He broke it and said, ‘Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”

26. Lord’s Supper  Partaking of the Fruit of the Vine:  I Corinthians 11:26 –  “In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, ‘This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.”

27. Giving  I Corinthians 9:7 –  (7) “So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.”
