71. MISR orbits the earth 15 times/day. Orbit numbers indicate the number of revolutions since launch. 233 distinct orbit paths repeat every 16 days. Each of these 16 days is referred to as a Data Day. Each path is divided into 180 blocks. Paths overlap, allowing near global coverage in 9 days. MISR Terminology
