Description A German Shepherd is a big dog. The Shepherd can weigh about 150 pounds. It is about 5.4 inches tall when they stand on their hind legs. They have big sharp teeth to keep them safe. They have gray, black and white fur.

Where it lives A German shepherd can live in a dog house. They can also live in the wild. Also they can live with their owner. German shepherd can live anywhere.

Enemies Their enemies are cats and raccoons.

How they are born A female dog may give birth to 1 to 10 puppies at a time. Small dogs usually have fewer puppies at a time. Puppies are blind and helpless at birth.
