6 DP Flex returns to play 2 nd base DP is back to playing “reserve” If the Flex returns to defense, the Flex position can be restored. 7 The Flex can only bat for the DP, in this case the Flex has left the game. 3-3-6-d-1 Placing the Flex in any other place in the batting order is an illegal substitution. 3-3-6-g Illegal Jenny Johnson The Flex enters to bat for Deb Donks who is NOT the DP. Deb Donks Jenny Johnson is removed from the game. A legal player may be substituted in the Flex position. 02 Kay Kilman Flex The Flex may be left empty.
