6. When ? time schedule Before 31 October 1999, each member state had to transpose IPPC at the national level: –But, by 1 august 2001, delays still occurred in Ireland, Belgium (the Wallonian region), Luxembourg, Spain and Greece. As from October 1999, the Directive applies to all new installations. The Directive does not immediately apply to other existing installations before 2007.
