Evaluation Plan I would use process evaluation since the program is already in place I chose this because: It can help show if the program met what it intended to It can be done at any time If the outcomes weren’t met it can show why Also could use outcome evaluation To determine if the program is effective Is the program efficient? Did it meet its goals?
6
Methods Would evaluate through basic informational surveys, focus groups, satisfaction surveys Sampling would be done through clients that are using Open Door’s services Use qualitative method Only would include those who have used the services provided and are 18+
7
Methods Cont. Would mainly evaluate through surveys and focus groups
Could potentially go to those who they are partner to evaluate how their partners feel that they are doing Also could survey their employees to see what improvements they feel are necessary
8
Results I would expect to see if the clients felt that the program was successful Have recommendations on how to improve Have meetings with stakeholders to discuss findings and improvements Come up with plans to put the results found into action Be objective, do not be bias with results
9
Policy Should aim to target other organizations, such as the Greater Boston Food Bank, to increase their partners Target more funders, donors, etc. Get more money through grants or by targeting politicians Improvements: Increase the communities knowledge of their services Increase partnerships Potentially start up community gardens
