12 Housing -8 Resident halls: singles.. double.. triple (About 5000 spaces available) Residential halls are available to everybody all 4 years. Freshmen are required to live on campus. undergraduate apartments: Approximately 290 furnished apartments for single (unmarried) full-time UCSB students. All apartments have shared bedrooms and are rented on an academic year basis (9-months) (usually for juniors and seniors) MEAL PLANS -19 meals = A “Premiere” meal plan for maximum flexibility; recommended for incoming students -14 meals = A “Sustenance” meal plan that meets most residents' needs -10 Meals = An “Alternative” meal plan that allows residents to purchase meals elsewhere on and off campus -"Board Dollars" -There is also the alternative to not having a food plan. Only students living in residential halls and in the Apartments are required to buy meal plans.

17 Campus Visits Walk with a current student or UCSB alumnus on a 75-90 minute campus tour. Stops include the largest lecture hall, the library, and the University Center. The visits have to re reserved. Monday- Friday (except major holidays) Visits on Saturdays, Sunday's or Holidays there is self-guided maps and you can tour the campus on your own.
