1 Showing you how to thread a machine There are lots of different sewing machines available to buy in shops. However they all are basically the same when it comes to threading them up. I’ll explain how to do it in stages.

6 Threading a sewing machine Follow the steps to thread your machine – you cannot miss out any of the steps !

7 The foot control - (pedal) this is how you make the sewing machine stitch. You need to take note of the following : your heel must be on the floor. Press the foot control with the middle of your foot. Safety Never press the foot control down quickly – slowly. Never press another persons foot while they are using it.
