2. The Ramsay Health Care Library is an online Library offering research databases, ejournals and ebooks. The Library Internet site is at: www.ramsaylibrary.com.au With your personal Library logon you will be able to access the resources from any computer with Internet access, both onsite and offsite.

3. You will need a Library logon to access the Library resources linked from eLearning modules. Some examples of the resources available are: ALS module ECG – Interpretation Made Incredibly Easy! Perioperative module Clinical Anesthesiology Essentials of Anatomy & Physiology Medications module Natural Medicines database Ramsay eLearning

4. Links from eLearning Modules Some elearning modules will include links out to the Library catalogue and result in a list of library items relating to that particular module. Elearning modules with these Library links include Advanced Life Support Perioperative Maternity Orthoanatomy

5. Who is eligible to access the Library resources? All staff may register with the Library for a personal Library logon which will enable online access both onsite and offsite. Students who are not staff members may not register for a personal logon. However, they may access the Library resources onsite by using the following username and password. rahlibrary123 library123 Third party affiliates (eg. consultants), are eligible to register with the Library for a personal Library logon.

6. How do you Register for a Library logon? While at your hospital, fill in the online form at the Register here link on the Library site or direct at: https://register.athensams.net/rah/ Greenslopes PH, Hollywood PH and Joondalup Health Campus register at: http://ramsayhealth.intersearch.com.au/cgi- bin/koha/ramsayselfreg.plhttp://ramsayhealth.intersearch.com.au/cgi- bin/koha/ramsayselfreg.pl You will receive a confirmation email with information about the Library and your logon.

7. Your Athens Personal Logon Your personal logon will look something like this for John Smith: rahjsmith001 rah = code for Ramsay Health Care. If you are at Greenslopes, Hollywood or Joondalup Hospitals your prefix will be GPH, HPH or JHC. 001 = zero, zero, one = first one of its kind

8. Your ATHENS personal account Avoid creating a duplicate account. Use the Forgotten Password link. Accounts have a life of 18 months. Keep your personal Library logon confidential. It is just for your own access. Contact the library if you have any problems with accessing the resources or need assistance with your library account.

9. At www.ramsaylibrary.com.au login to access the Library resources.www.ramsaylibrary.com.au Go to www.ramsaylibrary.com.au and click on Login via Athens

17. Nursing Reference Center – an excellent resource Nursing Reference Center is a resource that may well be of interest to you. It includes evidence-based information about diseases and conditions, as well as patient education. All the items are available in full text. There is a Skills & Procedures tab leading to a section with links to related information such as evidence-based care sheets, guidelines and quick lessons.
