Who is Mrs Fanshaw? I am from Myersville, MD (Frederick County) M.ED in Reading Fourth year at WES Married in May- Schiffhauer Kindergarten is my favorite grade.

Specials Monday- Music Tuesday- Gym Wednesday- Art Thursday- Library Friday- Music Schedule will change with each quarter (Gym-Please send your student to school with tennis shoes & comfortable clothing)

Snack (Optional) During centers Suggested snacks: fruit, granola bar, pretzels applesauce, etc. Send in a napkin and also a spoon if needed Please do not send junk food & sugary snacks!!

Dismissal Student Info Tags The children will have tags on their backpacks which will indicate how they will go home. *These MUST stay on their backpacks all year long!! Car Riders: Pick up car riders from your car Mrs. Latif will pick up/drop off Bus Riders: First to get on bus I walk them down the hall Walkers: Kindergarten Walkers will meet their parent at the side door (door before the office door). (Mrs. Campbell) Open Door Afterschool Program: Open Door students will be escorted to the cafeteria. Parents will pick up their students from the side door by buzzing in and signing their student out. Afternoon announcements are at 3:00 Dismissal 3:10

Welcome Packet Review Materials Keep at home Please complete paperwork at the front of the packet and leave it in the “completed basket.”

Homework Designate a quiet area A little each night Keep in a safe place Each month please complete the following tasks: 1. Practice Sight Words every night 2. Practice writing every night (trace letters, write colors, days of week, months of the year, etc.) 3. Read 10(+) books 4. Complete 15(+) items on the activity calendar 5. Complete ALL Reading/Math Links

More Information Send in an extra set of clothes Label all of your child’s belongings Absences: Send in a written note after an absence.
