How can we define Technology? We define Technology as the bridge between technique and science Science Technique Technology

The technology process The technology process has four steps: Identifying: we define the problem Designing: we think what we can do to solve the problem Building: we make the object Testing: finally we have to check if the object that we made has solved the problem OK

The technology process How to cross a river??? Identifying: there is a river and we want to cross it Designing: we can build a bridge with wood Building: we put stakes into the ground and hammer boards on them Testing: we put some sacks with sand to check if the bridge is strong enough

Rules for the workshop If you have any wounds, burns, etc you have to tell your teacher immediately Follow the rules strictly The material is expensive, so try to take care of it Working procedure: First of all: think for yourself how to do it Then: ask your teacher for help Finally: Try to do it by yourself

Tool control The tools manager has to check the tool board everyday, at the beginning and at the end of the class.
