Alignment mirrors) Open issues/NCRs: –Partial release of gold coating at single mirror lots : NCR processing in progress (e.g. process optimization)

PACS IHDR 12/13 Nov 2003 PACS FPU IR Coating Status Improved coating procedure: KT 72 Black Paint Trade Off selection of baseline coating completed –Surface characteristics: deep black, rough surface –Thickness (average):430 µm –Total mass:1.7 kg (4.2 m²) Completed Test verification –BRDF and specular measurements (Delft University), ambient temperatures –Liquid nitrogen shock tests –Outgasing tests :CVCM: < 0.1%, TML: approx. 1.2 % –Vibration test (ambient, LHe) of test samples and FW structures (Nov.2003)
