2. We are going to Catania!

3. We have a project partner in Catania and we are going to visit them to do some activities together. Our teacher wanted us to organise this travel. So we started working.

4. Our Travel to Catania To travel to Catania, First, we have to travel to Istanbul by bus. And then we will fly to Catania airport. There is no sense of traveling by bus or car. The best way for travelling is to go by plane.

5. Distance to Istanbul The distance from our city Balıkesir to İstanbul is 391 km We have to pay 90 TL for bus travel for round trip. For 3 people 90x3=270 TL

6. Distance to Catania is 1737 km

7. The the price for the plane ticket is 476 TL For 3 people 476x3=1428 TL The journey lasts 2 hours 15 minutes

8. The Accommodation Actually, we will stay with our host families! So we will not pay for accommodation. But for the activity we searched for hotels and hostels from internet.

9. Our Hotel We decided to book a double and a single room from Hotel Trieste. It costs about 1445 TL

10. Other Expenses We planned to take100 TL for this trip from our families for travel and other expenses. So for 6 days it makes 6x100=600 TL For 3 people 600x3=1800 TL We will pay 45 TL for travel insurance We will pay TL for tax for going abroad

11. Total Sum We added all the prices and we found that we will spend 4988 TL for three people for our Catania Trip! It makes 1794 euros (The euro exchange rate is 2.78)
