Rigorous Courses Taken Scores on AP, SAT, ACT Experiences/Involvement (Resume) Class Ranking ◦ Ex: UT Austin- Top 7% or 95% average All of these can start happening now!

All classes are based on one semester All classes are worth.5 credit A pair of related classes creates a course (example: Algebra 1A and 1B) Most courses are two semesters long Grades: ◦ 45% of grade is each nine weeks, ◦ 10% is final exams Bonus Points: Given to Pre-AP and AP courses (see brochure)

4 Advanced Measures are required to be considered for DAP: ◦ Research project GT Independent Study ◦ College Level Test Data AP EXAMS scoring 3 or better Commended National Merit Scholar, Natl. Hispanic Scholar, Outstanding Negro Students Scholar ◦ College Courses: Dual Credit courses which score 80% or higher
