① and ② are for you know the number which allows to find your desired document ① ② ③ ④ ⑤ In ②, you can input application number ③ is for you to search using FI (=similar IPC) and F-term. ④ is for you to search using text (only title, abstract) ⑤ is for finding and checking FI and F-term

FI ≒ IPC ( International Patent Classification ≒ CPC ( Cooperative Patent Classification ) different point Based on IPC, JPO classify in detail than IPC. What is FI and F-term ? http://www.uspto.gov/web/patents/classification/index.htm IF you want to check CPC

F-term is more useful for searching because F-term is more detail than FI. FI is given based on the technical feature of claim. F-term is given based on all feature of the specification. But F-term is unique in JPO. It is more difficult to find suitable F-term than FI. What is FI and F-term ?
