3 Tensile Strength UTS KN (min)
3000 Series Links Flat bottomed profile – Marked Redler Used in Most Redler Conveyors 5 sizes (Different pitches, measured by hole center) Pitch (mm) Width (female end) Tensile Strength UTS KN (min) Effective Case Depth Case Hardness (Min) Material Notes 3004 102 28 150 0.35 RC57 20MnCr5 Used in small M/c’s & MC2000’s 3002 142 42 300 0.45 18MnCrB5 Most Common size 3003* 62 450 0.50 Same as 3002 except wider. 3003D* 600 - Through hardened for Max Tensile strength 3122 216 58 582 Used in Cement industry 260 70 700 New size No Redler spares Note: Stainless Steel Links and other sizes can be sourced * The Redler 3003 Have a Bulge on the male end so that same Sprocket flanges as 3002 can be used.

4 Tensile Strength UTS KN (min)
3000 GB Series Links Flat bottomed profile - Marked GB Used by Braime and Non Redler OEM’s 5 sizes (Different pitches, measured by hole center) Pitch (mm) Width (female end) Tensile Strength UTS KN (min) Effective Case Depth Case Hardness (Min) Material Notes 102NA 102 28 150 0.35 RC57 20MnCr5 Used in small M/c’s & MC2000’s 142NA 142 42 300 0.45 18MnCrB5 Most Common size 142HA 62 450 0.50 Same as 3002 except wider. 142HAD 600 - Through hardened for Max Tensile strength 216NA 216 58 582 Used in Cement industry 260NA 260 70 700 New size No Redler spares Note: Stainless Steel Links and other sizes can be sourced

5 Tensile Strength UTS KN (min)
5000 Series Links ‘V’ bottomed profile – Marked Redler Used in Some Redler and all competitors Conveyors 3 sizes (Different pitches, measured by hole center) Pitch (mm) Width (female end) Tensile Strength UTS KN (min) Effective Case Depth Case Hardness (Min) Material Notes 5004 102 28 150 0.35 RC57 20MnCr5 Used in small M/c’s & MC2000’s 5002 142 42 300 0.45 18MnCrB5 Most Common size 5003 62 450 0.50 Same as 3002 except wider. Note: Stainless Steel Links and other sizes can be sourced

6 Variations to Links Through hardening – Maximum Tensile Strength
Anti wear bushes – Split Type – Anti Wear Solid Stainless – Anti Corrosion (Used in conjunction with FHM Pins) Keyways Link Keywayed in Male end to force articulation in bushed female end. Significant cost implications are involved with bushed links Link with keyway Pin with locking pin Hardened Bush

7 Types of Flights T-Plate U-Flights H-Flights I-Chain MC 1000 Tubular
Std Sizes Used In Typical Additions Notes T-Plate Conveyors Scavengers, UHMW Sleeve Brushes, Diggers, Pads, Scoops Most common type for conveyors U-Flights Elevators Pads & Blanking plates Scavengers. Most common type for Elevators H-Flights Pads & Blanking plates. Scavengers. Used on Free flowing materials (Like Grain) I-Chain Scavengers, Brushes,Scoops. Stainless crossbars and fixings. Used to achieve greater pull on larger machines MC 1000 MC1000 Conveyors None Cheaper alternative to MC2000 Tubular 5”,8”,11” Tubular Conv & Elev Pads & Blanking plates Used only in Redler Tubular Machines Detachable 5”,7” & 9” Scavengers, Hard Weld and Blanking plates Spares only Machines no longer made

8 Flight Variations Scavengers Diggers Pads Brushes Spares only
Why used How Common Application Scavengers To remove material from inside of conveyor Hard welded edges and ground to cutting edge Anywhere where build up is likely Diggers To stop chain rise on larger particles Angled and chamfered flight Cement Clinker Pads To clean material from Elevator Nylon or Neoprene pads To maximise clearout on Elevators Brushes Spares only To brush material from bottom of conveyor Bolted on nylon brushes Grain Conveyors Blanking Plates To assist En-Masse Elevating Welded steel plates For elevators where material will flow back UHMW Sleeve Used on MC Range for silent running Plastic sleeves over steel flights MC Range Scoops To return over-carry of material in D/E Steel or Plastic Grain machines

9 Flight Configurations
Chain Configuration Links are assembled in a configuration to match individual applications. This configuration can include scavenger, cleaning or pad flights as required. Within a complete chain, flighted links are usually supplied at every single, second or third pitch. See sketch showing typical arrangement of a ‘T’ type chain. Alternative configurations available. Chain is usually supplied pre-assembled into 3-metre lengths complete with connecting pins. All assembled chains supplied with appropriate protective coating.

10 Pins and Circlips 2 Circlip Type Headed Pin & circlip Lock Pin type
Why used Pin Details Common Applications 2 Circlip Type Historically cheaper Still Standard on 102 pitch Alloy steel Case hardened to RC 57 & depth 0.6mm Available as standard 3002,3,4 Headed Pin & circlip Used in I chains and current standard Lock Pin type To stop rotation in female end Used with Bushed and keywayed links Pin & Snugs Pin contained within width of link Only used in 3122 Links Headed Pin & Collar Cheaper version of above And circuit conveyors FHM Corrosion resistant properties Heat treatable stainless steel Available as an option on 3002,3,4 Circlips are available as Mild Steel (standard) or Cromweld 3Cr12 (Corrosion resistant steel)

11 Manganese & Runners Basic Info - Used with flat bottomed Links
- Used with V bottomed Links MC Range – Runs On Mild Steel Flat Runners

12 Sprockets and Trailers
Trailing Wheel REDLER LTD manufacture a range of quality sprockets and trailers to match the drop forged chain. Sprockets with or without detachable flange segments. All wearing surfaces hardened for improved life. All items designed with full boss that includes a keyway and grub screw for secure shaft mounting. All items can be supplied with high strength shafts.

13 Why Buy Redler ? Drop forged from alloy steel Precision machined
Case hardened to RC57 min High tensile strength Consistent dimensional accuracy Manufactured to stringent quality procedures ISO 9001:2000

14 Enquiry Information Needed:
If Redler: M/C number & Qty needed Assembled/Not Assembled If Non-Redler: Pitch Quantity Type & Dimension of Flight Configuration T1/T2/T3 Flight additions (Scavs etc) Material to be handled Sketch Assembled/Not Assembled Finish required
