Evaluation of Irrigation Ability on Simulated Root Canal using Vibringe® Department of Endodontics Tokyo Dental College

Vibringe ® (Sonic Cleaning Device for Endodontics) Vibringe ® Plunger & Recharging Stand Syringe and Needle Attached ( Manufacturers : Vibringe B.V. )

Purpose To evaluate the effectiveness of Vibringe® to remove the smear layer formed on the root canal wall surface during root canal preparation.

Materials: 25 extracted human mandibular premolar teeth Materials and Methods 5.25% NaOCl solution 3% EDTA Solution (SmearClean) Vibringe ® Use Group Vibringe ® Non-use Group SH Group SC Group SH + Vi Group SC + Vi Group Sterile Purified Water Control Group ( n=5 )

divided into the crown and the root by cutting at the cervical region Formation of root canal (K3 Endo, 0.04 taper, #25) Combination of root canal cleaning and Vibringe ® Root canal cleaning (Using 5ml of each solution, 60 second irrigation and evacuation) Washed with sterile distilled water Method

Fracture parallel to the axis of mesiodistal tooth Observe the surface of the root canal wall by scanning electron microscope (Scanning electron microscope, JSM-6340F: JELO Ltd.) Method
