3.   born to her slave parents  She was a field slave for her teenager years  After a head injury from her slave owner, she was prone to narcoleptic seizures for the rest of her life  She married a fellow slave, John Tubman  She left Maryland and reached freedom  Because Harriet was free, she wanted to help others reach the same thing  In the 1850’s she began her impact on history… Early life

6.   Harriet Tubman was such an important part of history, because she was willing to risk her life for something she thought was important. She risked her life nineteen times for three- hundred people she didn’t even know. She was really the first person to successfully defy slaveholders for a long period of time.
