20. Database Overview Owner database contains owner profiles with associated metadata. Shelter database contains shelter profiles with associated metadata. Also contains personnel listings with authentication data. Animal database contains animal profiles with associated metadata. Also contains lists of valid species, breeds by species, colors and dispositions. Datamining registry contains statistical figures that are called by reporting functions and knowledge-based decisions.
