HP C7115A cartridge

Specifications The HP 1200 is a 15ppm, 1200dpi printer. First page takes 10 seconds. Standard smart boxes won’t work. Toner Head will work.

Supplies 190 grams of HP-1200 toner New or used drum New or used wiper blade Mag roller cleaning fluid Drum padding powder PCR cleaning solution New or used doctor blade Sealant

Separation of cartridge Fig.1 Fig.2 Fig.3 Fig.4

Separation procedure Carefully remove drum shutter, do not lose the spring.(Fig.1) Drill holes in waste bin.(Fig.2)(Fig.3) Use a Dremel side grinder. Be careful not to drill through the wiper on the right (Fig.3) Use pin removal tool to push out pins from inside.(Fig.4)

Toner hopper and waste bin Side cutter pin removal tool Pin pusher hook tool

Waste bin Remove single screw on drum axel hub, remove hub and remove drum

Waste bin assembly

Waste bin procedure Set drum aside in a safe, light free location. Remove PCR and set aside. Remove two screws holding wiper blade, remove the blade and set aside. Clean out waste toner. Use padding powder on the new or used wiper. Use padding powder on new or used drum. Install drum, rotate to clean off padding powder. Clean PCR Remove drum, put a small amount of conductive grease on black PCR saddle.

WB procedure continued Clean PCR, replace if necessary Install PCR Install drum, rotate to remove all padding powder and clean trace of padding powder off PCR. Set completed assembly aside in a safe, light free area.

Toner Hopper assembly

Toner hopper procedure Remove the screw at each end cap and remove end caps. The guide bearings may come off. Remove the two large gears on the drive end. Empty out the excess toner and thoroughly clean out the hopper. Inspect doctor blade for relaxation or excessive wear. Doctor blade has to be removed to install a seal. There is a rubber plug in the opening where the seal pull-strip comes out. Remove, clean and replace after installing seal. Fill the hopper through the mag opening if you are not going to seal it. Fill it through the toner plug hole if you do seal it.

Toner hopper continued The OEM doctor blade has an adhesive strip on the back. Removing the blade may bend it and will ruin the adhesive. Either a new pressure sensitive strip has to be added or the inside metal of the blade has to be sealed.

Toner hopper continued Clean the mag roller with your cleaner solution. Inspect the ID of the bearing on the gear side for wear and toner. Inspect the bushings for excessive wear. Replace the bearing if grooved.

Toner hopper continued Re-assemble toner hopper components. The end of the mag roller fit into the keyed slot on the left. Prime the mag roller if you used a seal. Mate the two halves of the cartridge taking care not to pinch the springs in the waste bin assembly. Re-install the pins, pushing them in the distance they were before removal. Test print the cartridge.
