They are big grey giants. Elephants have a long nose. These giants weigh about a school bus! They love peanuts!

They live in Africa and Asia. You can find them in zoos almost anywhere. They live in dry, sandy and wet places.

80-90 percent of it’s diet is grass. They like plums, figs, berries, flowers, twigs, roots and bark. One of the really popular food they eat are peanuts.

An adult trunk can be about 7 feet long! They can suck up to 2 gallons of water in there trunks. Sometimes babies are able to walk on their trunks. They use their trunks to keep themselves safe. They use their trunks as a snorkel.

People thy to kill these big giants, but I want to save them. Elephants can eat 300 pounds of food a day! That is one big elephant! They use their tail as a fly swatter.
