What is a L2-L4 Disk referral? A patient may c/o pain at the knee that could be referred pain from the back at the region L2-L4 The clinician needs to rule out the joints below and above to make sure they are not the source of pain.

What is observed in an individual with an L2-L4 Disk referral? Patient may complain of knee pain that is a result of the hip.

Examination: L2-L4 Disk referral A full examination of the low back is necessary if the patient has a history of back pain or a current compliant of back pain.
