7. Rineyville Elementary School News Broadcasts Goal 1 The STLP will develop activities which enhance the academic, social and emotional growth of the student. Goal 2 The STLP will provide leadership opportunities for all students. The Rineyville news team produces a live news broadcast for the school every Friday morning. STLP members serving on the news crew arrive at school 30 minutes early to work on the daily broadcast. News is presented for our school as well as other community activities. The crew consists of students from grades four and five, with older students training younger students.

9. Goal 5 The STLP will develop activities which benefit communities Rineyville Elementary news broadcasts provides a forum for community events ranging from performances at the PAC, to community wide events such as blood drives, and Walk- For-Life.
