10 Time line and key dates Summer Term  UCAS/Post 18 options sessions including parents evening Research course and universities.  Plan open day visits.  Begin first draft of personal statement Summer holiday  Continue with the above so that you start Year 13 with a plan to complete UCAS application before October holiday Sept  Begin online application on Induction day 6th September  Complete quality first draft personal statement and hand to tutor  Early September – first date of receipt of applications

December  FCC late applications deadline early December January  15 th January – UCAS deadline for applications February  Offers made by universities, choose two (Firm and Insurance) March  UCAS extra  Deadline for some Art and Design May  Confirm firm and insurance (final date dependent on when last offer was made) August  Results day, accept university place, enter clearing
