To begin, ask yourself three questions:
What is the purpose to teach Urdu as a second language. How interest can be developed in the subject. What are the activities which can motivate students to secure good grades. Then set goals to achieve your targets.

Short Term Goals To motivate the students to use good vocabulary of Urdu. To enhance creative writing skills. To minimize linguistic errors To inculcate use of proverbs in written expressions To develop reading skills. To promote group work. To encourage students to present their views confidently.

Provide excellnt learning environment. Expose themselves with problems of life. Share critical thinking situations while in diverse groups.
