3 Proven performers, good neighbors 3 Prequalification Process  Prospective companies will be required to prequalify for each Request for Proposal (RFP) opportunity.  The process for becoming prequalified requires the active participation of interest companies.  All project RFP’s are Invitation to Bid Only-the completion of prequalification process does not guarantee participation in any RFP

4 Proven performers, good neighbors 4 Bechtel Supplier and Contractor Portal  All interested companies are required to register on the Bechtel Supplier and Contractor Portal- http://supplier.bechtel.com –Dunn and Bradstreet Number –Bonding capacity, bid range –Annual sales –Area of expertise, work experience –Business size classification  Information is utilized to assess your company’s capability  You may also send a letter of introduction & company capabilities to the Project Small Business Advocate

5 Proven performers, good neighbors 5 Prequalification Process  Most RFP Opportunities will be posted on the project website under Suppliers/Subcontractors/Opportunities: http://www.bechtelparsonsbgcapp.com http://www.bechtelparsonsbgcapp.com  Prequalification requirements will be listed on the description for the scope of work  Submit interest and prequalification documents utilizing the e-mail tool by clicking the envelope icon

9 Proven performers, good neighbors 9 Quality Assurance and Control Guidelines  Management System to assure yourself and the customer that you are doing what you say you are going to do  Focus on what is important (contract, specifications, codes and standards, and schedule)  Good Business (have a plan, document key activities, report with object evidence to support conclusions)  Strive to improve efficiency

We ask for your Experience Modification Rate (EMR) Where does this come from?  Your insurance carrier provides the EMR and this is based on your loss experience  We are looking for an EMR of 1 or less, you should be as well

11 Proven performers, good neighbors 11  Things we want you to report about your company: Your exposure hours or hours worked (last three years) If you had any fatalities and a description of them How many lost workday cases within the last three years Your medical only cases  All the information is on your OSHA 300 log  We are also asking you to provide a copy of your OSHA 300 Log Safety and Health Prequalification

26 Proven performers, good neighbors 26 National Construction Labor Agreement  The BGCAPP project is signatory to the National Construction Agreement (NCA).  Under this agreement BGCAPP has reserved the right to pre-select certain work to be performed without becoming signatory to the NCA agreement.  The website description will indicate if the Scope of Work has been pre-selected or will require bidders to sign the project specific (NCA)
