2 Anaconda Anacondas live in still fresh water. Anacondas eat capybara. The anaconda looks like a caterpillar. It is covered in scales. Keenan R.

3 Ankylosaurus Ankylosaurus lived in the cretaceous period. Ankylosaurus lived in the USA. Ankylosaurus ate plants and leaves. It had armor to protect itself from tyrannosaurus rex. It hid its belly from tyrannosaurus rex so it would not get it from its belly and flip it over and eat it. Its shield was as hard as 25 bricks. It looked like a rusty car. Ankylosaurus was really different from us in many ways. Alana E.

4 Barracuda Barracudas live in the oceans where it’s cold. They eat tuna and mullets. They weigh up to 100 pounds and have fins. The great barracuda is called the tiger of the sea because it is swift and deadly. Dalton F.

15 JAGUAR A jaguar lives in a jungle. A jaguar eats deer, fish and wild pigs. A jaguar looks like a leopard and a cheetah. The jaguar symbolized power and courage to the ancient Maya who considered the animal sacred. ROSS R.

18 The students chose their own animals and wrote down notes about them from World Book Online, Kids’ Edition. They typed their information into PowerPoint slides and chose a background color. They added a picture from Microsoft Clip Art, or used Google to find a picture on the Internet. Finally, they did a spell check and a reading check with Ms. Ewing, and she added their slide to the class’s virtual zoo.
