In the index of multiple deprivation 2004 the area: Golbonre Ward ranked at 3,571 out of 32,482 1 is most deprived LSOA and 32,482 the least deprived (Source: Local Layer Super Output Areas (LSOAs) in England) The area is one of two ‘hotspot’ areas with the highest level of youth crime in the borough. (‘Figure it Out’ 2004 Kensington & Chelsea’s audit of crime and disorder.)

It takes place outside institutional settings e.g. schools. It can take various forms, including: 1. tutoring 2. personal goal attainment 3. career exploration 4. life management skills development 5. entertainment or cultural activities
