The Paraclete And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate to be with you always, the Spirit of truth, which the world cannot accept, because it neither sees or knows it. But you know it, because it remains with you, and will be in you. … The Advocate, the holy Spirit that the Father will send in my name – he will teach you everything and remind you of all that (I) told you. Chapter 3 The Holy Spirit and the Blessed Trinity The Holy Spirit Is God The Paraclete Jesus remains present to us through the power of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit is the Lord God. The Spirit’s primary mission is to adopt us into the divine family and to unite us to Christ Jesus. The Holy Spirit is our interior teacher who keeps us united to Christ.
