2. Democracy: Cold War  In the time known as the cold war, the US rallied against the spread of communism by becoming involved in the Korean and Vietnam wars. We also supported anti-communism rebels in nations like Nicaragua and Afghanistan.

New officials were elected and surprisingly a lot of Iraqi’s showed up to vote.
