4.  EXPLORE testing in November 2012 ◦ Results sent home to parents by the end of January 2013 ◦ Used for recommendations and course selections  Curriculum guide distributed to students in January ◦ Available on the Lakeland website under Guidance ◦ See p. 3 for a list of the “Graduation Requirements”  All core course recommendations are submitted by 8 th grade teachers (English, History, Math, SS, World Language) ◦ If you disagree with a teacher’s recommendation, you will need to appeal this to Tim Conway, Director of Guidance by April 1 st

6.  What do parents need to do to register their child at Lakeland Regional High School? ◦ Discuss course & elective options with your child ◦ Return forms you received in the mailing to the Lakeland Guidance office TODAY  If you do not have the forms, they will need to be returned when your child meets with their counselor
