Homework Typically you will not have homework in Social Studies, HOWEVER: Work that is not completed in class will become homework & turned in the next day. Additional research for projects may need to be conducted at home. Studying for all quizzes and tests will ALWAYS be on the agenda as homework. Review material daily

Grading Policy Grading Scale: A- 100-90%B- 89-80% C- 79-70% D- 69-60% F- 59%-50% Assessments: 90%Practice: 10% Some assessments and assignments will be graded using a 4-point scale. 4- Exceeds expectations. Extends beyond what was taught 3.5 3- Successfully understood major & minor concepts that were taught 2.5 2- Needs refinement, with support – can understand major & minor concepts 1.5 1- Needs improvement, difficulty understanding what was taught. Even with help, could only gain a partial or weak understanding of concepts
